The pearl of Orewa’s crown is the stunning Orewa Beach, home to the Half Marathon. The race venue and finish line are on the foreshore reserve immediately south of the Surf Club car park. The race will start directly in front of the Surf Club on the beach.

Running along the Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa Beach stretches for 3kms of gorgeous sandy paradise. Based 20 minutes from the Harbour Bridge, it’s a gateway to Orewa and the surrounding Hibiscus Coast. The beach is known for its safe water, perfect for swimming with the kids or playing all manner of watersports.

With a plethora of different activities available in the surrounding area, it’s perfect for a holiday and hundreds of competitors do come to Orewa for a day trip or a weekend away.
